Extra expenses and contingencies
It is important that the overall wedding budget include a portion allocated for extra expenses and contingencies. Extras are not always included in the final price so it is best to make arrangements with vendors to purchase all-inclusive packages.
The open bar, for example, could be a service included among those provided by the venue or, an extra that was not calculated. The same goes for the DJ and music, such as entertainment for the children and different shows that might entertain the guests.
Then there are special services that have become very de fashion in recent years, such as food corners, photocalls, fireworks, and more. All these extras affect the budget, therefore, it is important to decide in advance whether to include these extras in the services or if it is better to forgo them.
You should also always anticipate unforeseen events and set aside a small amount earmarked for last-minute changes, unexpected guests, children’s entertainment, and more.
